Delivering great lessons consistently is essential when preparing for your Standards Check. Your lesson plan needs structure and also input from your customer. Ask yourself these questions:
How involved in your lessons is your client on a scale of 0 -100, with 0 being, you lead entirely and 100, it is led completely by your client?
Where do you think the scale should be?
Do you get blocked when setting goals with your client?
Do you hear remarks similar to this, 'I dont know' 'You tell me' 'You're the expert'?
Do you want to learn how to deal with these challenges?
Is your customer aware of the learning outcomes they are trying to achieve on your lesson?
Do you know how to coach and manage the risk?
How many solutions or teaching and learning strategies do you have and do you want to learn more?
If you think you would be interested in a day's training about client-centred learning so it fits around the Standards Check then I am running a training day in Ashford on May 25th, please follow the link below to book your place or if you want a chat pick up the phone and give me a ring.

Ashford Kent Standards Check Day
Standards Check & CCL Training Day - 25th May 2016
The day is hosted by Graham Hooper and runs from 9.30am to 4.00pm and focuses on the Standards Check, coaching and client-centred learning techniques.
Whether you have been an ADI for over 20 years, or are more recently qualified; even if you have been delivering coaching and client-centred learning for a long time - there will still be plenty to gain from this day's training.
"Thanks again for today! Changed some pre-conceived ideas in my thinking regarding ccl- found it so valuable! Can't wait to practice it on the road."
"You have given me plenty of thoughts to improve my ccl so no doubt it will be a late night as I try to get my pdp going. The SC form will get a good drilling tonight. Again thanks for a great day."
