Do you want to be more in control of your future?
Do you know that in just four weeks you can change your habits, which will put you more in control of your future? Your future results are predominantly a manifestation of your thinking - when those thoughts are put into action. If you want to create change then you need to shift your current mindset. giving you the power to create opportunities. Often, in our busy lives, we don't give ourselves the time to focus on creating our vision of the future; or discovering the driving force required - which is the emotional connection between our dreams and the creation of our reality. We might know what to do but actually doing it is a different kettle of fish. Creating a plan to actualise your vision means that the actions you take are less prone to mistakes, saving you time and providing you with a focus that you can work on. Taking action for your future requires you to act each day towards your goal (long-term vision) because your success is a direct result of the actions you take each day. Come and join me, Graham Hooper, on our next course starting on Monday February 15th at 8am, to kickstart your week and help you enjoy your life's journey. Continuous Learning! The saying 'Every day is a learning day' is very true of life. Learning is continuous and keeps us motivated and focused on achievement. It is essential to have a growth mindset as there are always opportunities and new situations to learn and develop from. It is not possible to reach a stage where we know enough - yes, we can acquire skills to meet our needs but there are great benefits to continuing to learn. Learning improves our confidence by engaging with new challenges; and increases our self-esteem so that we can cope better with difficult situations. Change is always a challenge and having the ability to deal with new situations improves our resilience - the more we learn to cope with the challenges that life throws at us, the easier it becomes to deal with the unknown. As trainers (and 'learners' ourselves) embracing learning enriches our experiences as well as those we help develop. 10 Reasons why adapting your teaching to suit the client works:
If you want to increase your understanding of how learning works in a wider context, whether for yourself personally or professionally, visit our website and peruse our courses.Learning is about processing through our thoughts (cognitive) and our feelings (emotive) so that we can 'fit' the world and culture that we live in (environment).
We need your vote!We need your vote because we have been nominated as finalists in the Intelligent Instructor Awards as Professional Support Provider of the Year.
Below is a list of some of what we have achieved for you in the last year: - At the start of lockdown, we had 200 existing customers in the system. We contacted each person and reassured them about how we were going to deliver our commitments to them. We arranged deferment of payments for anyone, who requested this; and also gave out refunds, in recognition of the difficult times people were facing. - We have supported the industry and looked after our customers’ well-being throughout the pandemic: o We sent out 30 daily webinars free of charge o We carried out interviews with leading figures and sent these out o We provided six discussion videos, based on coaching o We offered a free prize draw of four individual coaching sessions; and then delivered four group coaching sessions free of charge to all who entered the prize draw. - We introduced additional support to all BTEC 4 candidates, in the form of emails and Zoom assignment surgeries, to discuss how to gain evidence and complete the assignments when ADIs were not allowed to work. - We moved to Zoom which involved, not only learning how Zoom works and taking advantage of the screen share facilities and the breakout rooms; but also, developing detailed campaigns to ensure that all course delegates had regular automated emails, detailing the date and time of the course and the Zoom link they would need to follow. - We noted the reluctance of some of our customers to engage with Zoom and, therefore, held meetings to determine how best to deliver the excellent information in an engaging, and educational way online. - We will continue to develop new courses and products. Currently, we are in the process of piloting and launching two new courses – Group Coaching, and Advanced Coaching. - We will continue to work closely with Dr Lisa Dorn, delivering workshops on driver behaviour and coaching to a number of corporate clients. - We will continue to develop our team of trainers to ensure that their knowledge, skills and performance are second to none.
