Tri-Coaching Partnership was formed in October 2010
The name Tri-Coaching came about because of the important three-way relationship in driver training: From Tri-Coaching (the training provider), to the ADI (the customer), to the learner driver, advanced driver (the client).
Although a relatively new company, the founder members had industry leading experience in their fields and shared a common purpose...
To improve road safety and training standards through better education. A secondary, but perhaps equally important, goal is to improve the work experience and earning potential of driving instructors.
There has been a lot of discussion about coaching in the driver training industry press over the last few years – attitudes towards coaching vary. Some instructors are against change of any kind, others apprehensive that they might be left behind as coaching becomes more popular, some are ‘afraid’ that they might not be able to learn a new and complex method of teaching.
The reality is that in all business, change happens. Those who move with the times prosper - the candlestick maker who moved into oil lamps, the stable owner who learned about ‘horseless carriages’. The driving instructors who learn new and efficient methods will be amongst the modern survivors.
Tri-Coaching are at the forefront of change in driver training.
